Welcome to EatsBueno. Our mission is to help you build healthier and more sustainable habits around food, your well-being, and your daily life. To do this, we need to process certain personal information about you.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how EatsBueno Inc. (“EatsBueno”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores and protects your information when you use:

  • our mobile app,
     

  • our website,
     

  • our AI functions,
     

  • the community functions,
     

  • and any related tools, content or services (collectively, the “Platform”).
     

This Policy is part of our Terms of Service. If any defined term does not appear here, it will have the meaning indicated in the Terms of Service. We recommend that you read both documents.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

EatsBueno Inc. is a wellness technology company registered in the state of Delaware, United States.

If you have any questions about this Policy or how we process your data, you can contact us at:

2. Age and minors

Our services are primarily designed for adults.

  • 2.1. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform, unless the law of your country requires a different age to give valid consent to online contracts.
     

  • 2.2. If the laws of your country require a different age to give valid consent, you must meet that minimum age.
     

  • 2.3. If you are under 18 years of age (or younger than the legal age of majority in your country), you may only use the Platform with the consent and supervision from your father, mother or legal guardian, who will be responsible for your use.
     

The Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13 years of age without verifiable consent from their parents or guardians.
If you believe that a minor has provided us with data without proper supervision, please write to us at privacy@eatsbueno.com so that we can investigate and, if necessary, remove that information.

3. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to the information we process when:

  • You create an account or sign in (including with Google or Apple).
     

  • You use the app, the web, and the AI ​​features.
     

  • You participate in the community, publish content, or interact with other users.
     

  • You write to our support or answer surveys.
     

  • You visit our website.
     

This does not apply to third-party services that we do not control (for example, other third-party websites, apps, or services that you access through links outside the Platform). We recommend that you review their own privacy policies.

    • We do not provide medical services or use your data for clinical diagnoses.
       

  • Data sharing
     

    • With service providers, business partners, analytics providers, research partners, marketing partners, other companies in the group, and authorities when required by law.
       

    • We do not sell your personal data.
       

  • Storage and protection
     

    • We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, backups, etc.).
       

  • Retention and elimination
     

    • We retain your data while your account is active and as long as required by law and our legitimate purposes.
       

    • You can request the deletion of your account and data (with certain legal exceptions).
       

5. Personal information we collect

We may collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use the Platform, and also from third parties.

5.1 Information that you provide to us

a) Account and profile details

When you create and manage your account, we may collect:

  • Name or alias
     

  • Email
     

  • Country or region
     

  • Preferred language
     

  • Profile picture (if you upload one)
     

  • Password (stored in encrypted format)
     

b) Information on well-being and habits (non-medical)

Platform features allow you to voluntarily register information, for example:

  • Personal goals (habits, energy, well-being, daily organization)
     

  • Dietary preferences (e.g., favorite cuisine, meal times, non-medical personal restrictions)
     

  • Information about your lifestyle (e.g., sleep, activity, daily routines)
     

  • Reflections, notes, diaries, moods or “check-ins”
     

  • Photos or videos you share about meals, habits, or progress
     

Some of this data may be considered sensitive (for example, weight, diet, emotional state). We treat it with special care, but we do not use it to provide medical diagnoses or clinical treatments.

c) Community Content (User Content)

If you use social or community features, we collect:

  • Posts, comments, reactions
     

  • Images, videos, recipes, or other content that you upload
     

  • Information visible on your profile within the community (e.g., username, photo, biography)
     

d) Communications and support

When you contact us, we collect:

  • Your email address or other contact information you provide
     

  • The content of your messages (support, complaints, ideas, suggestions)
     

  • Responses to surveys or questionnaires
     

  • Information you provide to help resolve technical issues (for example, screenshots)
     

e) Payment information (subscriptions)

If you purchase a paid subscription:

  • On the website, payment is processed through third-party payment gateways.
     

    • These processors may collect data from your card or payment method.
       

    • EatsBueno only receives the information necessary to: confirm payment, subscription status, purchase date, amount, etc.
       

  • In mobile apps, payments are usually managed through Apple App Store and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies.
     

EatsBueno does not store your full payment card details.

 

5.2 Information we collect automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

a) Usage and browsing data

  • Screens or sections you visit
     

  • Buttons or links that you click on
     

  • Date and time of your actions
     

  • Frequency and duration of your sessions
     

  • Technical logs, including errors and crash reports
     

b) Device data

  • Device model and operating system
     

  • App version
     

  • Language and time zone
     

  • Approximate IP address
     

  • Device identifiers (for example, mobile advertising ID, where applicable)
     

  • Network information (such as internet provider or mobile network)
     

c) Cookies and similar technologies (web only)

On our website we use:

  • Necessary cookies: for basic operation (login, security, essential preferences).
     

  • Functional and analytical cookies: to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
     

  • Similar technologies: such as pixels, tags, local storage, etc.

5.3 Personal information we receive from third parties

a) Sign in with Google or Apple (accounts)

If you choose to register or log in using your Google account or your Apple account, we receive the following information from these providers:

  • Your name and/or alias
     

  • Your verified email address
     

  • A unique identifier associated with your account at that provider
     

  • Optionally, your profile picture, if you have authorized it
     

Important:

  • We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Photos, contacts, iCloud files, or other data from your Google or Apple account.
     

  • We only use this information to authenticate you, create and/or link your EatsBueno account, and prevent unauthorized access.
     

Further down, in section 8. Data accessed from Google and Apple accounts we detail this specifically.

b) App stores

Apple App Store and Google Play can provide us with:

  • Information about the status of your subscription
     

  • Approximate geographical area (country of the store)
     

  • Device type and system version
     

  • Information related to refunds or billing errors
     

c) Analytics and marketing providers

Campaign analytics and attribution platforms can provide us with:

  • Which ad or campaign brought you to the app/website?
     

  • If you completed certain events (install, open, subscribe, etc.)
     

  • Aggregated data on the performance of our campaigns
     

We do not share sensitive content or clinical data with them.

d) Business and research partners

In some cases, we may receive from business or research partners:

  • Aggregated or anonymous demographic information
     

  • Results of surveys or studies in which you have participated
     

When this happens, we will always do so in accordance with applicable law and, where necessary, with your consent.

 

5.4 Aggregated, deidentified or anonymized information

In some cases:

  • We aggregate data (for example, total number of users who complete a certain habit).
     

  • We de-identified and anonymize information so that it can no longer be reasonably linked to a specific person.
     

We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information for analysis, statistics, product, or research purposes, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. For what purposes do we use personal information?

We use personal information for the following purposes:

6.1 Providing and managing the Platform

  • Create and manage your account and profile.
     

  • Save and display your records, content, and progress.
     

  • Enable community features, comments, and reactions.
     

  • Manage payments, subscriptions, renewals, and refunds.
     

  • Allow login with email, Google, or Apple.
     

6.2 Communicating with you

  • Answer your questions and support requests.
     

  • Sending you notifications about changes to the Terms or this Policy.
     

  • Inform you about security incidents or technical problems.
     

  • Sending you reminders (if you enable them) about habits, records, or other functions.
     

6.3 Personalization (non-medical)

  • Adjust your experience (language, suggested content, habit recommendations or wellness ideas) according to your usage, settings and country.
     

  • Show you relevant content based on your preferences and activity.
     

  • To offer you experiences and messages more aligned with your goals (not medical diagnoses or treatments).
     

6.4 Product research, analytics and improvement

  • Understanding how the Platform is used (which functions are used most, which flows work best).
     

  • Analyze errors, crashes, and performance issues.
     

  • Develop new features and improvements.
     

  • Conduct internal analyses and studies (e.g., retention rate, usage patterns).
     

  • Conduct surveys and product tests (when you participate in them).
     

6.5 Marketing and promotional communications

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may:

  • Send you emails or in-app messages about new features, offers, promotions, or EatsBueno news.
     

  • Measure the effectiveness of our campaigns (for example, to know if an email was opened or if a campaign generated installations).
     

You can unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time (see section 11).

6.6 Security, compliance and protection

  • Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse of the Platform, unauthorized access or violations of the Terms of Service.
     

  • To protect our rights, property and safety and that of our users.
     

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, data protection).
     

Manage claims, disputes, or legal proceedings.

7. Use of AI and processing of your data

EatsBueno uses models of artificial intelligence (AI) for features such as:

  • Interpret text that you enter (for example, descriptions of meals or habits).
     

  • Analyzing food images (when we allow it and you use it).
     

  • Suggest ideas for habits, organization, or well-being.
     

  • Answering questions in natural language within the field of wellness (non-medical).
     

When you use these features:

  • The data you enter (text, images, context) is processed to generate the response.
     

  • We can save your interactions with AI for:
     

    • show you your history,
       

    • improve the quality of responses and detect errors,
       

    • perform aggregate analyses.
       

We do not use AI to:

  • Issue medical diagnoses or make decisions with legal effects.
     

  • Make automated decisions that produce significant legal effects on you (such as approving or denying loans, for example).
     

Sell your data to third parties.

8. Data accessed from Google and Apple accounts

(What Google/Apple gives us, how we use it, and whether we share it)

When you choose to log in or register with your Google or Apple account, we process the following data:

8.1 Specific data we access

From your Google or Apple account we receive:

  • Name and/or alias associated with your account.
     

  • Verified email address.
     

  • Unique user identifier provided by Google or Apple.
     

  • Profile picture, if you have authorized it to be shared.
     

We do not access:

  • Your email inbox.
     

  • Your Google Drive files, iCloud, Photos, contacts, calendar, or other personal data that you store on Google or Apple.
     

  • Location information from Google Maps or similar, unless you provide it to us by other means.
     

8.2 How we use this data (Data Use)

We use the information received from Google/Apple to:

  • Create a new EatsBueno account linked to your Google/Apple email, or link it to an existing account.
     

  • Authenticate you when you log back in.
     

  • Prevent fraudulent use or unauthorized access (e.g., detect suspicious login attempts).
     

  • Send you necessary emails related to your account (security notices, legal changes, etc.).
     

We do not use this data for:

  • Direct advertising purposes of third parties.
     

  • Scan the contents of your email or your files.
     

  • Create profiles outside the Platform.
     

8.3 Sharing of this data

We may share minimal data linked to your account (for example, your email and an internal identifier) ​​with:

  • Our authentication or backend providers (to verify that the login is valid).
     

  • Hosting and database providers (to securely store your account).
     

  • Analytics services (in pseudonymized format) to understand user sign-ups by channel (e.g., how many users register via Google vs. email).
     

We do not share direct access to your Google or Apple account with third parties.

8.4 Retention and deletion

  • While your account is active, we retain the information necessary to continue authenticating you with Google/Apple.
     

  • If you delete your EatsBueno account, we stop using those identifiers and proceed to their deletion or pseudonymization, unless a law requires us to keep them for longer (for example, accounting records).
     

You can revoke EatsBueno's access through your Google or Apple security settings. Please note that this may affect or prevent you from logging in to EatsBueno with those accounts.

9. How we share personal information (Data sharing)

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share it with the following categories of recipients, always in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

9.1 Our service providers

Third-party companies that help us operate the Platform, for example:

  • Services of hosting, databases and storage.
     

  • Tools, analytics and usage measurement.
     

  • Services for sending emails and notifications.
     

  • Tools customer service (for example, ticketing or chat systems).
     

  • Payment processors (especially in the web version).
     

  • Security and fraud prevention providers.
     

These providers act, in most cases, as data processors and they can only use your data following our instructions.

9.2 Our business partners

In some cases, we can collaborate with other companies to:

  • Offer the Platform as part of a wellness or benefits program.
     

  • Integrate EatsBueno as part of a joint offer or “bundle”.

9.3 Our analytics providers

We may share data (generally pseudonymized or aggregated) with providers who:

  • Allow us understand the use of the Platform (what functions are used, where the flow drops, etc.).
     

  • Allow us to measure how effective our improvements and campaigns are.

We do not share information about your clinical health, or detailed sensitive content, for third-party campaigns.

9.5 Our research partners

  • Agencies that conduct surveys or studies on well-being and habits.
     

Whenever possible, we will do it in a way that is aggregated or de-identified.
If identifiable information is shared for a specific study, we will do so in accordance with the law and, where necessary, with your informed consent.

9.6 Other EatsBueno users (community)

If you choose to participate in public or community functions (for example, forums, groups, comments):

  • The content you post (text, photos, aliases, etc.) may be visible to other users and, in some cases, publicly.
     

  • You decide what to share in those sections. You should avoid including highly sensitive information in public content.
     

Check your regular privacy settings to understand what is shown to other users.

9.7 Third parties in relation to corporate transactions

We may share personal information in the context of:

  • Merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
     

  • Restructuring, financing or business transfer.
     

  • Due diligence processes prior to these operations.

However, no data transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. We continually work to improve our defenses against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

13. Retention and deletion of information

13.1 Storage periods

  • As long as your account is active, and
     

  • For as long as is reasonably necessary to:
     

    • operate the Platform,
       

    • comply with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., tax and accounting),
       

    • resolve disputes,
       

    • enforce our agreements,

Specific timeframes may vary depending on the type of data and the applicable regulations in your country.

13.2 Deletion of account and data

You can request the deletion of your account and data:

  • Through the app, if we offer that option, or
     

  • Writing to privacy@eatsbueno.com from the email associated with your account.
     

By deleting your account:

  • Your profile will no longer be active.
     

  • We will delete or anonymize personal data in our production systems within a reasonable timeframe.
     

  • We may retain certain minimal information when required by law (for example, payment records, billing, or consent information).
     

Some of the data may continue to exist temporarily in backups, but will be isolated until its deletion according to our retention cycles.

14. International data transfers

The Platform may include:

  • Public or semi-public functions (forums, comments, groups, community sections).
     

  • Spaces where you can share achievements, photos, testimonials, or reflections.
     

Any content you post in areas visible to other users may be seen, used, kept by those third parties. We cannot control what other users do with information you have made public.

    • legitimate interest (security, analytics, improvement),

16.2 Notes for users in the United States (including California)

To the extent that state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA apply:

  • You may have additional rights of access, portability, correction, and deletion.
     

  • You may have specific rights regarding the "sale" or "sharing" of data. EatsBueno does not sell your personal data according to the usual meaning of “sale” in these laws.
     

  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
     

16.3 Notes for users in Brazil (LGPD)

If the LGPD applies to you, you can exercise rights such as:

  • Confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion.
     

  • Portability where applicable.
     

  • Information about the entities with which we share data.
